Kirkwood Printing February Calendar
Dark, milk or white - no matter which flavor, we all love good chocolate. For Kirkwood's February '07 Calendar, we created a confectionary "dream come true" with this folded poster, using a heart-shaped box of candies as our inspiration. We illustrated the 28 chocolates, with special attention to those chocolates that "fell" on holidays; the details in the frosting reflect that day"s celebration. Mardi Gras' chocolate is decorated in yellow, purple and green, while the Chinese New Year confection is wrapped in a metallic gold and red wrapper. We can't decide what was more satisfying - creating the illustrations or sampling the research subjects!
